THE KIT
THE KIT

Every low poly papercraft kit includes pre-cut, pre-scored cardstock pieces, numbered assembly instructions in 6 languages (EN / FR / ES / IT / DE / PT), and a free practice kit. No scissors needed. Glue is not included.

No. Every piece is pre-cut and pre-scored. You punch them out, fold, and glue. Nothing to print, nothing to cut.

Dimensions vary by model. Please refer to each product page for the specific measurements.

Note that final dimensions may vary slightly depending on how tightly the pieces are folded and aligned during assembly.

We recommend Aleene's Original Tacky Glue or Elmer's Glue-All. Both give you enough working time to adjust pieces before the glue sets — which matters more than you'd think.

Apply with a toothpick or coffee stirrer for precision. A little goes a long way.

Avoid glue sticks: they leave lumps,
can warp the cardboard, can be messy, take too much time to dry and don't hold well over time.

Avoid glue guns: they are too imprecise and can damage the paper.

Avoid double-sided tapes: it will dry out over time and doesn't allow for realignment during assembly. Your model won't hold as well long-term.

THE EXPERIENCE
THE EXPERIENCE

Build times vary by model and are listed on each product page as a guide. Out kits can take from 2.5 to 6hrs and more, often
across multiple sessions.

Some people take longer, some go faster. There's no right pace: the process is the point.

Not difficult but it requires patience and dexterity. This is not a casual craft. Expect a learning curve, especially on your first kit.

That's exactly why the practice kit is there. Use it before starting the main model.

If you enjoy focused, hands-on activities, you'll find it deeply satisfying.

Our papercraft kits are designed for adults and teens as a solo project. Packaging indicates 10+ (6-10 with adult supervision), as the builds require patience and fine motor control, two things younger kids tend to struggle with. The assembly itself is best handled by adults and teens.

That said, kids love the finished model. In our experience, they treat it with real care and pride. That's where it becomes a genuine family activity, adults and teens build, everyone enjoys the result. And since it's designed to be done across multiple sessions, there's no pressure to finish in one go.

Most kits can be a great shared activity with smaller children (6 and up), with an adult guiding the folding and assuring the gluing. We don't recommend it as a solo activity for young children.
(see previous question)

No prior experience needed. The instructions are numbered and visual. The included practice kit walks you through the core technique before you start the main build. Plus the learning curve is pretty smooth.

Yes. It works well as a shared activity — one person folding pieces while another handles gluing and assembly. Each step is distinct enough that two people can contribute without getting in each other's way.

It's designed mainly as an adult and teen activity, but younger kids can absolutely join in on the folding.
