The Fox Sitting is our best-selling low poly papercraft kit - a Canadian red fox captured in a resting pose, head slightly tilted, with that unmistakable curious expression.

Intermediate level. 5 to 6 hours of build time. Finished size : 45 cm × 43 cm × 27 cm.

Every panel is pre-cut and pre-scored on heavyweight cardstock. You fold, you glue, you build. No scissors, no printing, no experience needed - just patience and a steady hand.

The result is a 45 cm geometric sculpture that holds its own on any shelf. Sharp angles, clean lines, and the kind of handmade quality you can feel when you hold it.

Part of the Poly Paper Craft Canadian wildlife collection. Designed in Montréal since 2016.

Every kit includes:

  • Pre-cut and pre-scored papercraft sheets on heavyweight cardstock
  • A practice kit: a tiny mushroom, to learn the fold technique before you start (a little bit tricky on purpose)
  • Step-by-step instructions in 6 languages (FR/EN/ES/PT/IT/DE)
  • Glue not included

No scissors needed. No printing. Everything is ready to fold.

Meet your animal.

Meet the red fox - Canada's most adaptable wild neighbour.

One of Canada's most beloved and widespread mammals, the red fox (Vulpes vulpes) is found in every province and territory - from forest edges to city parks, farmland to arctic tundra. Few wild animals have adapted so successfully to living alongside humans.

Solitary and territorial, the red fox is one of the shyest and most intelligent members of the canine family. Fast and light on its feet, it uses its bushy tail for balance, warmth, and to communicate with other foxes. Its hearing is remarkable - it can detect the squeak of a mouse from 30 metres away.

Red foxes have been called bold, cunning, and deceitful - particularly in children's stories. From Aesop's fables to First Nations and Inuit stories, the fox has inspired storytellers across cultures for centuries.

This kit is our tribute to that quiet intelligence. That curious tilt of the head. That gaze that seems to know more than it lets on.
