The Raccoon is our most charming kit - and the one with a twist. This little masked builder is sitting down, holding the practice mushroom in its paws. A wink at the craft, and a perfect introduction to the world of low poly papercraft.

A great model to enter the world of low-poly papercraft. 3 to 4 hours of build time. Pre-cut and pre-scored on heavyweight cardstock. No scissors, no printing, no experience needed.

The finished sculpture brings a familiar Canadian neighbour to life in geometric form - that unmistakable black mask, the ringed tail, the mischievous stillness of an animal that always looks like it's up to something.

  • Pre-cut and pre-scored papercraft sheets on heavyweight cardstock
  • A practice kit: a tiny mushroom, to learn the fold technique before you start (a little bit tricky on purpose)
  • Step-by-step instructions in 6 languages (FR/EN/ES/PT/IT/DE)
  • Glue not included

No scissors needed. No printing. Everything is ready to fold.

Ships worldwide from Montréal, Canada. Orders are usually processed within 1-3 business days, though processing times may vary. Tracking provided for all orders if option is selected.

Returns
Unopened kits may be returned within 14 days of receipt. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Damaged orders
If your kit arrives in a visibly damaged or compromised package, take a photo before opening it. You can open the outer packaging but do not open the product inside until you hear from us. Contact us within 48 hours, we will look into it together and work to resolve it quickly.

The English word "raccoon" comes from the Algonquian words aroughcun and aroughcoune, meaning "one that rubs, scrubs, and scratches with its hands." A fitting name for an animal whose front paws are among the most dexterous in the animal kingdom.

Found in every province except Newfoundland and Labrador, the raccoon (Procyon lotor) is one of the few wildlife species that have thrived despite human expansion. Highly adaptable, its only apparent habitat requirements are a source of water, food, and a protected area for denning.

Raccoons are noted for having very high intelligence - and a well-earned reputation for mischief. In Toronto, the city introduced "raccoon-resistant" green bins in 2016. Videos captured in 2018 showed raccoons opening them with apparent ease.

This kit is our tribute to that impossible combination of charm and cunning. Sitting quietly, holding its practice piece, looking entirely too pleased with itself.
